There’s a Fire in My What?!?
Happy Friday!
I missed last week’s Friday Fodder, but never two weeks in a row! Here’s a little bit of my favorite comic to lighten your day…
Happy Friday!
I needed a little laugh today…a smile or something…so I went and found another installment of Ellen calling her friend Gladys. She is hilarious! Enjoy…
Happy Friday!
This might just be the perfect machine, but I wouldn’t expect one in American anytime real soon (maybe in the upper Midwest?). I thought this was the perfect way to start off our Friday…enjoy…
Happy Friday!
Today you get an added bonus for the Friday Fodder. I had my video all lined up (thanks Bill) and then my boss showed me video at work yesterday that I just HAD to share…as it might be the funniest thing I have ever seen. I was going to bump the video I had planned but decided I would share them both since they are both good. And who doesn’t need a little extra on a Friday? So enjoy…
Quote of the Year: “I love Jesus but I drink a little.”
I think this may be one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard.
Ellen is funny, but Gladys upstaged her several times.
Now, for the bonus feature…
Gotta love me some Fantasy Football!
Happy Friday All…TGIF!!
Here is a quick physics lesson from a few thousand miles away. We learned the principle in school, but it’s nothing like actually seeing it in action. Kinda cool…
Happy Friday!
This guy had to see this coming (I am sure that’s why he video taped it). Note that I am confident only a guy would even try something this dumb. He got what he deserved…enjoy…
Happy Friday!
While this video is fun, the message is better than my typical Friday Fodder video. This was done by a church in Abilene, Texas and is based on Colossians 1:27: “For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.”
I am not sure that you’d hear “The Hallelujah Chorus”…I think we can do better but I’m not much of an audiophile to come up with a better song, but I am working on it.
So how about it? What song would you hear??
I think this event might be in the next Olympics (at least the Redneck Olympics). I’m not a big bowling fan, but the trick is still pretty cool…I certainly couldn’t do it. No rhyme or reason for this one today…it’s just Friday…
Happy Friday!
You lived in this world without God and without hope.
But now you have been united with Christ Jesus.
Once you were far away from God, but now you have
been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:12b-13, NLT
I don’t know about you, but this verse describes me a “T”. I lived in this world without God and therefore without hope until God brought me near to Himself. Scripture is full of this idea that God has pursued us and done everything in His power to bring us to Himself. I don’t know why sometimes, but God wants a relationship with me and with you. It’s an awesome thought. I want to be near to God, but I can’t do that on my own. It took the ultimate sacrifice to make it happen.
I have been brought near to God by Christ. There’s a thought I needed for the day!
Here’s a video Nick sent me this week that drives this thought home another way…
This guy failed the test before it even got started. I wonder if he even finished? Either way it’s funny!
Happy Friday!
