Yes, my man Mike Huckabee is officially out of the race for the Republican nomination. It was a sad day we all saw coming awhile ago. I can’t say I like the nominee we got (he was about fourth on my list), but he’s the guy now and I will support him, just not with as much enthusiasm as I might have a few other candidates. Such is life.
I do admire the campaign Mike ran and I admire the way that he is leaving the race. He is out of the race, but he is not down about it any way, shape, or form…and he is still sticking to his spiritual and life principles. I’m also interested watching what’s happening on the Democratic side as well. If nothing else, this year has been more fun to watch on all sides…and it isn’t even close to being over yet.

I always wondered how committed Dave was to Huckabee since he taped the Huckabee for President sticker to his back window. If he was really committed he would have taken the plunge and afixed that sticker proudly to his bumper for all to see for years to come. Inside I think Dave is really hoping for the Obama/Clinton super ticket!
